Sant is produced in India. While there was an abundance of fruit in villages there hasn’t been the demand to command a good price to harvest the fruits – until Sant produced its products.
The fruit that is dried, Garcinia indica, has to infuse for about an hour. Many recipes can be made with Sant and you can even eat it raw, add it to granola, smoothies or as a souring agent in cooking.
