Fresh hot sauce

Whoever made her/his own sambal or harissa knows it can not be beaten by the heat-pasteurised, packed with preservatives jars you can buy in the grocery shop. Today we are making these international hot sauces fresh, without heat or preservatives.

Peppers are eaten all over the world but are originally from South- and middle America. Oversea explorers from mainly Spain and Portugal took these spicy fruits back to Europe and introduced them in other colonies in Africa and Asia. Due to the favorable climate the pepperplants were growing very well in these colonies as well, and they became part of the food culture.
